Sophie Albert

Sophie began her career in commercial modeling when she was discovered by Admate, the model management arm of FameFactory, when she was 15 years old. By the time she was 17, Sophie knew she wanted to be an actress so she auditioned for, and was signed up by, Star Magic of ABS CBN. In that one year with Star Magic, Sophie had numerous appearances in various shows, but she eventually left the business to go back to school.
In 2012, Sophie joined the biggest 'artista' reality search on television: "Artista Academy" on TV5. Sophie bested 7 other aspiring young female artists and emerged as Artista Academy's 'Best Actress'. Soon after, Sophie was cast in a co-starring role together with Artista Academy 'Best Actor' Vin Abrenica in "Never Say Goodbye", a drama series that gave her the chance to act alongside veteran actors Nora Aunor, Cesar Montano and Alice Dixson. For her role as Kate in "Never Say Goodbye", Sophie earned herself a nomination for 'Outstanding Breakthrough Performance' in the 2014 Golden Screen Awards for Television.
Sophie was last seen in a starring role in the Cinemalaya 2014 ‘Best Ensemble Acting’ award winning film "#Y" directed by Gino M. Santos, which was distributed by Star Cinema in theaters nationwide.
Sophie is currently part of the TV5 sitcom “No Harm No Foul” along with Ogie Alcasid. She is also a co-host in TV5’s Sunday noon time show “Happy Truck ng Bayan.”
Sophie is the image model for real estate company Mirobeni Properties and the brand ambassador for Unisilver Time.
