Julz Savard

Julz first got a taste of fame when she won Ms. Teen Philippines in 2006 at the tender age of 14. During her stint, the teen princess took on the role as 'Ambassador to the Youth' and was featured in numerous publications in the country, with one even placing her in the 75th slot in a list of 'Most Beautiful Filipinas'.

 

After her reign as Ms. Teen Philippines, Julz lay low to concentrate on her studies, until the chance to join the MYX VJ Search in 2010 came along. Julz won the search along with 2 others and stayed on as a MYX VJ well beyond the 6 month contract package of the search winner. In 2011, Julz was invited to join newly-formed Filipino  rock/alternative band "Save Me Hollywood" as Lead Vocalist. "Save Me Hollywood" has gained recognition in the local music scene with the release of their debut album 'Your Story To Tell'.

 

In 2012, Julz joined Jam 88.3 as a Radio Jock on the morning show. That same year, Julz was declared the first Meg Ambassador in the  reality show "I Am Meg" hosted by Kim Jones on the ETC Channel. As Meg Ambassador, Julz was featured on the cover of Meg Magazine and took on the role of Judge/Mentor in the 2nd season of  "I Am Meg". She is set to reprise this role for the 3rd season of the  reality competition.

 

Julz showed off her singing and acting chops in the "The Kitchen Musical" series entitled "Boston.” She also hosted "Travel Now", a new extreme travel show, together with Philippine Volcanoes‘ Gaz Holgate. Julz was last seen playing the character “Sasha” in Jim Libiran’s Sinag Maynila 2014 entry “Ninja Party.”
